Thanks for your interest in joining the T-CAIREM's 2025 Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Medicine Summer Program for high school students in PEI!

Students in grades 10, 11, and 12 will get a chance to learn how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing healthcare and get some hands-on experience from University of Toronto medical students. You'll also hear about the innovative health programs at the University of Prince Edward Island.

This Summer Program is made possible by the Temerty Centre for AI Research and Education in Medicine (T-CAIREM), the University of Prince Edward Island (UPEI), and the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Literacy Foundation Inc.

SUMMER PROGRAM DATES: August 18 (Mon.) to August 22, 2025 (Fri.)

METHOD: In-person

HOURS: 9am to 2pm AT each day

LOCATION: University of Prince Edward Island. The exact room locations will be shared with successful applicants.

• Please apply only if you can attend the full week. 

• This application is free. Thanks to a grant from the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Literacy Foundation Inc., we are able to offer registration for this program at a reduced cost of $250 per student.

• A link for registration and payment will be provided to successful applicants after acceptance. Once registered, no refunds will be issued.

• Students will receive a Certificate of Completion for attending the summer program.

• For students who wish to participate and need financial assistance, additional bursaries from the Rotary Club of Charlottetown Literacy Foundation Inc. are available. Please contact: marianne.so@utoronto.ca.
